Kandiga Bolga Basket

These beautifully woven baskets are made from durable elephant grass, handcrafted in farming villages in the Bolgatanga region of northern Ghana and are perhaps the best known of all African baskets. Each purchase helps provide the farmers and weavers in the region with a sustainable way of living. It is such a joy to see + feel these designs come to life through the skill of indigenous artisans.

Care: If basket gets out of shape submerge in water and re-shape as needed. Trim off any stray grass with scissors.
